At Eurosat Coastiality, the focus is not only on the experience of a VR rollercoaster but especially on the combination with a free roaming experience. The guests put on the VR headset in a pre-show room and enter into the world of Valerian even before they actually get onto the rollercoaster ride. The VR headset is kept on during boarding and the starting of the rollercoaster, as the station has been faithfully recreated in the virtual world. The VR headset is only removed at the end of the journey, after a successful agent mission. With pre-show, free roaming experience and VR rollercoaster ride, guests can be offered an experience that is almost 10 minutes long. The currently-unique VR experience was realised in cooperation with the partners MackMedia, VR Coaster, Holodeck and EuropaCorp.
