After a long wait, the cult-hit attraction Pirates in Batavia has returned to Europa-Park. Michael and Thomas Mack, Managing Directors, describe their personal bond with the ride and the enthusiasm they feel about the reopening. Roland Mack, owner of Europa-Park, is happily surprised as he discovered himself as an animatronic! Pascal Heinzelmann, Art Director at MackNeXT, talks about his satisfaction and reveals that attentive visitors can find many ‘hidden Easter eggs’ such as hidden details during the journey.
